How can we get this film? We’re on an island, recycling and reusing like mad but our landfill continues to climb…
We belong to an organized group called Cinema Politica that allows us to show these films with a fee attached. You can buy it I believe. If you are having landfill issues that is a state problem in the US, is it not? In Canada it would be a municipal issue. You can find out if there are local initiatives that you can join and work with them to bring this movie forward or at least help in creating policy level change. Landfill increase in the US has so much to do with the mass consumerism that continues: public education may help, but until people wake up and realize the consequences of their actions, nothing will happen. Try finding Cinema Politica and ask them about the movie; not sure if you have that group in Nantuckett. Worth a try! Hope your landfill stops soon: it’s completely unsustainable.
